一分耕耘 一分收获
As you sow, so shall you reap.
一分耕耘，一分收获。
We cannot stand by and simply wait for a plant to bear fruit. We have to care for and nurture the plant first. Likewise, success requires both hard work and perseverance. Remember the proverb, “As you sow, so shall you reap.” If you work hard now, you will enjoy the fruit of your labor in the future.
我们不能袖手旁观等待树木结果。我们必须先要照顾灌溉树木。同样地，成功需要努力及坚持不懈。记住这句格言：“一分耕耘，一分收获。”你若现在努力，未来就可享受辛勤得来的果实。
知识就是力量
Knowledge is power.
知识就是力量。
One thing that puts man above animals is intelligence. Intelligence comes from knowledge. Thus, the more knowledgeable we become, the more power we will have. As the saying goes, “Knowledge is power.”
人类凌驾动物的一点就是人类有智能。智能来自知识。因此，我们愈有知识，就愈有力量。俗云：“知识就是力量。”
自信是成功的第一秘诀
Self-trust is the first secret of success.
自信是成功的第一秘诀。
Success does not come easily. There are many factors which contribute to a person’s success, the most important of which is confidence. If you don’t have confidence in yourself, you’ll get nowhere in life. That is why people say, “Self-trust is the first secret of success.”
成功不是轻松就可获得的。一个人的成功是由许多因素促成的，其中最重要的就是信心。若无自信，一生就不会有成就。难怪有人说：“自信是成功的第一秘诀。”
罗马不是一天造成的
Rome was not built in a day.
罗马不是一天造成的。
Nothing will be achieved when things are done in haste. Haste makes waste. It is important, therefore, to do things step by step. Remember the saying, “Rome was not built in a day.”
做事匆促是不会有成就的。欲速则不达。因此，做事要一步一步来，这点是很重要的。记住：“罗马不是一天造成的。”
不劳则无获
There are no gains without pains.
不劳则无获。
You cannot succeed without hard work. No great thing is achieved easily without sweat and toil. As the saying goes, “There are no gains without pains.”
不努力你就不可能成功。没有伟大的事是无需流汗和辛劳就可轻易获致的。有句谚语说：“不劳则无获。”
要铭记在心：每天都是一年中最美好的日子
Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year.
要铭记在心：每天都是一年中最美好的日子。
Emerson once wrote, “Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year.” By that he meant that we need to look on the bright side of life and feel happy every day. This way, we will find life meaningful and enjoyable.
爱默生曾经写到：“要铭记在心：每天都是一年中最美好的日子。”他这句话的意思是指我们必须看人生的光明面，每天都要感到快乐。这样的话，我们会发现人生是有意义而又愉快的。
有志者事竟成
Where there’s a will, there’s a way.
有志者事竟成。
When faced with a task that seems impossible to complete or an obstacle that seems impossible to overcome, we should have determination. If we are determined, we will eventually find a way to complete the task or overcome the obstacle. As the saying goes, “Where there’s a will, there’s a way.”
遇到似乎不可能完成的任务或是无法克服的障碍时，我们应该要有决心。如果有决心，我们终会发现完成任务或克服障碍的方法。有道是：“有志者事竟成。”
善终为善
All’s well that ends well.
善终为善。
As long as the outcome is good, it doesn’t matter how many mistakes one has made because the end result is what really matters. As they say, “All’s well that ends well.”
只要结果是好的，一个人犯了多少错并不重要，因为最后的结果才真正重要。有道是：“善终为善。”
